Drummer Curt Moore has over 100 recordings to his credit, and
has performed with the Count Basie Orchestra, Ray Brown, Joyce Cooling,
John Clayton, Richard Davis, Ian Dogole, Pete Escovedo, Bruce Forman,
Mimi Fox, Jimmy Haslip, Jimmy Heath, Jackie and Roy, Andy Narell, Rufus
Reid, Francois Rabatth, and Turtle Island String Quartet.
He is currently on the teaching staff at the JazzSchool in Berkeley, California.
Curt has appeared at Chez Hanny previously with Soul Sauce, Denny Berthiaume, and Dave Haskell.

Jon Eriksen, vibes/harmonica. Jon has been performing and
recording in the Bay Area for the past 25 years and his credits
include: Johnny Mathis, the Mills Brothers, Roger Williams, the
Spinners, Liberace, the San Francisco Symphony, the Jofferey Ballet,
Lola Falana, Bobby Vinton, and Art Van Damme.
Jon is also a first-call studio harmonica player with commercial, movie and record dates too numerous to list.
He has appeared at Chez Hanny previously with Soul Sauce.
Pianist and accordionist Rich Kuhns has been a part of the Bay
Area music scene for more than twenty-five years. His versatility has
led to collaborations with Nelson Riddle, touring with Harry Belafonte,
recording with Richie Cole and accompanying impressionist Frank Gorshin
and Brazilian diva Elza Soares. Other musical associates include
Claudia Villela & Ricardo Peixoto, Peter Barshay, Harvey Wainapel,
Joe Craven and Kitty Margolis.
His work has appeared in films, including "Henry and June" and the DVD
release of "Ratatouille", and PBS programs including American Masters.
He appeared previously at Chez Hanny with Soul Sauce, Trio Paradiso, and Maria Marquez.

Bassist Rich Girard has played, toured and recorded with Mose
Allison, Cleo Laine, Gerry Mulligan, David Byrne, Mel Torme, Andy
Narell, Stewart Copeland, John Sebastian, The San Francisco Pops
Orchestra, Nashville Symphony Orchestra, The Los Angeles Pops
Orchestra, and The Philadelphia Pops Orchestra.
He has performed at the Monterey Jazz Festival, Montreaux Jazz
Festival, Montreal Jazz Festival, JVC Jazz Festival, Finger Lakes Jazz
Festival, Toronto Jazz Festival, San Francisco Jazz Festival, Carnegie
Hall, and the Hollywood Bowl.
He appeared previously at Chez Hanny with Soul Sauce, Trio Paradiso, and Left Turn No Signal.
For more than 25 years, percussionist Javier Navarrette has
been dedicated to the study and performance of music, specializing in
Afro-Caribbean rhythms. Javier has studied with masters in Cuba
including Miguel Angá Díaz, Jose Luis
“Changuito” Quintana, as well Folklorico Nacional de Cuba.
In the San Francisco Bay area, he has studied with John Santos, Michael
Spiro and Jesus Díaz.
Javier has had the honor to perform with such greats as Poncho Sanchez,
Los Van Van, the “Conga Kings” (Francisco Aguabella, Carlos
“Patáto” Valdez, Armando Peraza and Milton Cardona),
as well as with Jon Faddis, Trini Lopez, Nestor Torres, Jimmy
Heath, Jerry Gonzalez, and Bobi Cespedes. In addition, Javier has had
the privilege of recording with world-renowned artists Giovanni
Hidalgo, Anthony Carillo, Sandy Perez, Jimmy Bosch, José
Fajardo, Orestes Vilató, Carlos Del Puerto, Dafnis Prieto,
Pedrito Martinez and Andy Gonzalez. He also recorded on three Grammy
nominated albums with John Santos’ Machete Ensemble and El Coro
Folklorico Kindembo.
